OUTDOORSMEN FOR ALZHEIMER'S, Inc.. (OFA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in July of 2005 as a way to get outdoors enthusiasts involved in the advancement of Alzheimer's research, education and awareness in North Carolina and throughout the country.

OFA firmly believes that sportsmen and women are some of the finest people in the world - which is why we could not be more proud to call on these friends for their help in achieving our mission.  Since 2005, OFA has been thankful to secure and enjoy the support of hundreds of generous, philanthropic members from all walks of life.  These supporters share our core values, characterized by a deep love for the outdoors and a passion to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

OFA asks for your support as we continue to make a difference.  You can help by becoming a member, making a tax-deductible donation, volunteering your time, or simply by spreading the word about this devoted organization.  We thank you in advance and look forward to representing you for many years to come!

About OFA

OFA is a membership-based organization that is also funded through donations, grants, honoraria/memorials, and exciting fundraising events throughout the year.  Our major fundraisers include our annual Spring "Bobbie H Boney Fun Run" event, and our "An Inch Goes a Mile" Whitetail Fundraiser held every Fall.  OFA has no salaried employees, and all funds raised are directly applied to Alzheimer's research exclusively within the State of North Carolina, and to the education and awareness programs of the organization.
