About Outdoorsmen for Alzheimer’s, Inc.

Outdoorsmen for Alzheimer’s, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in July of 2005 as a way to get outdoor enthusiasts involved in the advancement of Alzheimer’s research, education and awareness. Outdoorsmen for Alzheimer’s (OFA) firmly believes that outdoorsmen and women are some of the finest people this world has to offer which is why we could not be more proud to call on these friends for their help in achieving our mission. Since 2005 OFA has generated the support of hundreds of generous and philanthropic members from all walks of life. These supporters share our core values which are characterized by a deep love for the outdoors coupled with a passion to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

OFA is funded through private and corporate donations, grants, honoraria/ memorials, and exciting fundraising events throughout the year. After operational expenses, 100% of contributions are applied directly to Alzheimer’s research, education and awareness within the State of NC. OFA has no salaried employees.
